When we created our line of Studio Professional classical guitars we did it especially with students, aficionados and semi-professionals in mind; for all those that are looking for a handmade guitar built with very high quality wood, however at a more affordable price. For these guitars we use German spruce or red Canadian cedar for the harmonic top, Indian rosewood or cocobolo for back and sides, Honduran cedar for the neck and ebony for the fret board. All this wood is solid and it is naturally dried for at least ten to fifteen years.
The building process is the usual: characterized with attention to detail and top notch execution. The basic solera is that of Doming Esteso with later innovations and changed introduced by Felipe´s father and uncle as well as changed and improvements introduced by Felipe himself over the last few years. Our aim with these models is to offer a the best guitar possible, at the best possible price using well selected materials, crafted using techniques that have been developed over the four generations of guitar builders in this family. These guitars are a product of our intent to create the best possible guitar in its own class that will serve its owner as an inspiration to carry on in their exploration of this instrument and the perfection of their technique.
These guitars are characterized by excellent tonality and superb playability.
